idle is too high?

what should i check for if my idle is about 1500 rpm on neutural? is that normal? also it seems like its bouncing when driving off in first?

check for vacuum leaks or try adjusting the screw on your idle air control valve(iacv) search for it on here theres a thread or write up for it im sure
