Hi all,

I finally started my CA this weekend and was good until it got warmed up....The idle jumps between 1200 and 800 rpm. The fluctuation has a perfect rythm to it.

EDIT: It is a full OEM rebuild motor with all new gaskets.

The battery is dead and might be un-usable. I have to use another battery to jump start it.

It also has the AC fan running on it.

After all that is said...I think that the idle fluctuation is the alternator trying to charge the maybe toast battery and running the fan.

I'm going to get a new battery soon and see what happens.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
