I have a 1995 Nissan XE 4WD 4cyl KA24E truck.
Back in late winter early spring my idle was a bit high-around 1200 Give/Take a bit.
About 3-4 weeks ago it started going up (approx 1500) and then almost down to where it would die (after the engine runs a few minutes). It will occasionally die when you shift.
Now the idle is low when cold started and stays there except when it does the erratic deal. It seems like I have to stay pretty close to the gas pedal and give it a bit of EXTRA gas to keep it running especially when shifting. I did change the fuel filter which in the past has helped similar problems- but not this time.
Any wisdom, help experience would be a blessing- Honestly, I know enough to save some money but be dangerous without careful instruction.
Thanks in advance
