Ok, this has been an ongoing problem since i bought the car 3 weeks ago, when i first start it up it idles great and runs strong, then after maybe 15-20 miles or after the car is warmed up, i park, shut it off, then go do something for a few minutes, come back and start it up, the engine shakes all the way down to the shift knob, it buckes and sounds like a crapped out lawnmower, or a rumpity bump harley, i take off and it stays like that until i romp on it and get the rpms up and get above 40mph, the whole time it feels like it has no power, im also getting somewhat crappy gas mileage...1/2 tank has only gotten me about 90 miles, just recently, like 3 days ago, replaced spark plugs with good ol NGKs, changed oil plus filter, air filter and fuel filter and also replaced the coolant temp sensor which fixed my dying when comming to a stop problem...its a 93 240sx SE..any ideas?

i just had that same problem about a month ago and i replaced the fuel filter, plugs, etc. No of that seemed to do any good so i took out the fuel injectors and took them down to get cleaned and i am still as i type this waiting to get my new injectores cuz i had two bad injectors. So give it a try maybe just poor some fuel injector cleaner in there and if it helps a bit i would say take someplace to get cleaned by a pro.

About the stalling when you stop issue. You mentioned that you replaced the coolant temp sensor. What kind of symptoms did you have? I have to run my AC motor to keep my 91 240SX from stalling when I stop. The RPMs go back up to around a 1000 after I stop. Without the AC on, my RPMs go up and down and settle around 700 but when I push in the clutch (to stop only) the engine dies. Help please.
