my friend has a 91 ser with a bluebird tmic motor.hes using the stock ecu, tuned by jim wolf for turbo, stock harness and stock maf.theres a greddy type s bov that is recirculated.the charcoal can is hooked up as well.the problem is when hes cruisin, not even on the throttle really, and lets off the idle drops and almost stalls the engine.it does this almost every time.im positive its not a vacuum leak.the only thing i could think of is the jim wolf tune is way too rich.or the bov could still need to be tightened,it is really loose.any thoughts or suggestions.thanks.

My DE+T does the same thing. Drops to 500rpm at pretty much every stop and stalls out occasionally with a recirced BOV.

Some cars are known to have this issue. I'm going to try to use the Dec Air settings on my SAFCII to fix it, but with the JWT I don't see why he'd have this problem.

Talk to JWT.

edit: It's my MAF, jiggles around too much. Is his MAF securely in place in the engine bay? If it bobs around it's going to get weird and do stuff like that. Also, my idle was dropping when I turned the wheel because my bottom end was too lean. Get a wideband in there and see where it is.
