hold your foot on the floor and crank it 4 to 5 times for 10 secs each. never let your foot off the throttle during the entire process. on the 4th or 5th attempt cranking if it is flooded it should start to cough as though it is wanting to start. If you start to get the coughing drop the throttle to the 1/4 position and see if it will fire over at that point. Holding your foot to the floor while cranking is a clear flood procedure. this gives the engine the maximum amount of air possible and helps to get the fuel cleared from the cylinder.
