can someone explain to me what that plastic idle bleed valve screw does located under the 2nd-3rd intake pipe (its actually mounted on the intake manifold itself...its some kind of valve with a grey plastic screw on top)...i know it will adjust idle engine speed...but does it have any other significance...ive seen some people with theirs turned all the way out...and some all the way in (mine is all the way in...i always adjust my idle using the screw located underneat the throttle body...i replaced it with a longer allen bolt for easier access) but yah...what the hell does this thing do???

When it's all the way in, it lets less air to get into the intake manifold therefore your engine will have a lower idle. When it's all the way out, it lets quite a bit of air in making the idle high.

The way you are adjusting it is wrong, it's like you're giving your car gas when idle. This also registers your TPS signal too making the car think you are always on your gas pedal regardless.

The way you are doing it using the screw at the throttle body is the "Incorrect" way for adjusting idle.
