o, i did.

i got the car outa there, but im not sure if i want to go through the hassle of getting an attorney involved. its easy to say, but not as simple as you would think. the shop agreed to give me 200 bucks, but thats it. Plus, when you have a car that anything but stock, average people like insurance agents dont know that to think of it.

legal work is way easier than you think. i own a car audio shop and sometimes people try to stiff us. talk to the police and make them work for you. tell them you want to take them to small claims court. most of the time you pay nothing. represent yourself.

make the laws work for you. we all pay for this in our taxes, so use it.

btw, why haven't you disclosed the shop's name?

**** happens, did they make you sign any papers before you left your car? like i make people sign a form before i accept a car, one part is saying any legal cost are to the customer, and we assume no responsibility. you'd be surprised how many people say we scratched their cars when it looks like they got into a fender bender. fuggin people

my advice for you is to make sure you have alot of up to date pics of your car, another word of advice is to make sure the shop fills out paperwork upon dropoff (this paperwork usually includes a diagram of the car and locations of current damage) which not all shops do, and finally, don't bring your car in with missing body parts, ie, bumpers.

O, BTW, i have a few updates on the problem, for those of you that have symptoms similar to mine.

-TPS was bad (which explains the throttle response)-MAF was bad (which explains the rich running condition)

**car still has unknown problem***

-It misses at all rpm's once every 2-3 seconds -Idle searches up and down between 700 and 800-After revving tor motor, idle will stay at 1000 rpms and then take almost 20 seconds to drop back down to 700-800.
