when it first started happening i put some sea-foam feul cleaner in the tank to see if that would help, it helped some but I didn't notice a huge difference. I had somebody on here tell me it could be my intake valves or something like that. They said that they might be getting gummed up or something along those lines. It is winter here in Illinois, and temp's have been getting down into the single digits, and it is even worse now. It just sounds like the engine is working so much harder and the speed gained per RPM is not as good. For example, you know your own car, so if you are at 3000 rpm's in second you know about how fast it should be going. But when it is bogging down, the rpm's climb on the tach at about the same speed, but the car doesn't go as fast as it should for being at that rpm. Also, when it is bogging down, it seems like redline becomes 5000 rpms. I am trying to explain, but it is just one of those things that you know is wrong because it is your car, and something is not right, but you can't put your finger on it. I will probably just break down and have a mechanic look at it, but I am the type that would always rather take the pride of solving it without going to one. Thank you for your rersponses, and any more help is greatly appreciated, also if there is anything i can help anyone with, i have nearly tore my car to peices and back again, so maybe i could help. laters :smoker
