Idle air control valve to cold pipe

I just installed a Greddy intake manifold on my RB25, and now i'm doing my intercooler piping. i've been looking at alot of pictures online of other peoples set-ups, and noticed that nobody runs the idle air control valve to the cold pipe. am I missing something? what is everybody doing to run the idle air control valve back to the intake?

I'm sure they run it to the cold pipe and u just can't see it in the pic.

not 100 % sure but i think ive seen where they get rid of it all together and just adjust the throttle plate open a bit with the screw on it. can anyone confirm?

mine is hidden under the cold pipe so you cant see it lol.
