idle adjustment

i just installed a new hks exaust and air intake system on my 1990 skyline gtr and now my idle is at 1800rpm I was looking a the servise manual and they use a scaner to adjust the idle do i need i ?? because i tried the screw on the back of the ecm and the one on the acc module but nothing changed.

what could have cause this ???

warm the car to normal operating temp. with car running disconnect both plugs from the iac (ones purple ones brown) on the iac is a black adjustemnt screw, turn it to set you idle speed. once set reconnect the iac. turn off car and wait 10 secs and restart to see if adjustment resolved issue.

if not you may have a vacumm leak due to the new hks intake.
