I replaced my whole IACV unit about 3 days ago. Now my normal idle is around 900-1000 rpm. That's too high for the stock setting (650-750). I called the shop and he said that you usually dont play with the idle adjustment screws (hes done alot of 240s).. So he said if I want he can get it back to my setting 650~750.

Should I leave it at that 900-1000 rpm or bring it back and have it lowerd at 650-750.

the iacv has the little adjuster screw on it. look at your iacv and you'll find the screw. use that to adjust your idle.

Yes I am aware of the screw but... Im having trouble actually finding it under the intake manifold. I have the picture of the unit from the FSM but... I just cant seem to find the damn screw...

If somebody could give me an idea of whereabouts... it would be GREATLY appreciated

ok, get on the left side of your car(passanger). Now look at the very left most of your intake manifold, now follow the brake booster and there should be another smaller vacuum hose running close to it. The little hose connects directly to it and the brake booster connects very close to it.
