SEs have white face gauges, 5 lug wheels and generally fog lights. Other than that the options randomly show up on SEs and Base models.

Thats it? so basically if I can find a non se for cheaper I should go for that since they are the same horsepower and weight and brakes and everything?

yes, most people consider 5 lug wheels ot be fairly important, but thats about it.

and you "only" have an S13 too.

I bought a base model (didn't have much of a choice), but I prefer it over the SE anyway.

I have a base model ... the only thing I wish I had is LSD. other than that, I don't care about 4 lugs or not. or anyother options on the SE model

LSD = Limited Slip Differential. If one wheel is slipping the power will be transferred to the one that isn't.

I have a '96 SE and am very pleased with it. What year is your Eclipse? My fiance has a '92 N/A Talon and I like it a lot. His constant starting problem is a bit of a pain, but overall I'm a big fan of 1st gen DSMs.
