well i got my sr back from the engine shop and i start the motor and it starts dumping oil im like wtf so i pull the motor and he put on a fwd sr20det headgasket. so no i got to put a new hg on. gotta love it

did you tell him it was rwd japan only engine and needed a special head gasket?, if not I think you should be a little more fair, I mean its a big mistake but if you just said its an sr20 he'd just look in a book and buy one, maybe you should have supplied one considering its one of the few japan only parts.

he knew what it was he works at a import machince shop they just got done with a 800hp supra. well i went and talked to him to day and he said bring him a recipet for the new head gasket and he'll give me the mone back for it, he also said he didnt know there was 3 diffrent style sr20det hg.

NO... only a dumb *** would not notice that the HG did not line up right...
