identifying rwd cars

hey, i am about to buy some sort of very old, and cheap rwd car to do minimal work to and drive around so i dont drive my 240 as much. i am looking for a rwd car, does anyone know a web page that might have specs on older cars? i know the 87 and before corollas are, what about 200sx's in which years? or older maximas? i know u can tell by the engine placement, and usually by where the tail pipe is, but some cars i am looking at there are pictures of. any help is appreciated, thanks!

olders 200SXs are FWD still... Maximas are FWD. Id just find an old Corolla or another old 240 to drive around.

awesome, thanks for those links. yeah i was hoping the old 200sx's were going to be rwd, i like the hatchback look of them.

my basic idea for getting an old rwd car is to learn how to drift in it so i dont mess up my 240. i plan on painting it and adding a custom tin body kit, heh. get some really cheap rims and tires and do the exhuast myself....basically i am not paying labor for anything i do to this and going the cheapest route i possibly can. rip out the interior and replace it all...whateva, just have some fun with it...add a hood scoop, aw yeah! that way i dont have to hold back when im driving, because if i smash it up ill just go to the junk yard, get a new panel, paint it, and walla.
