identifying limited slip rear ends

I was wanting to find out if there is a vin# designation or a model (ie:SE or XE) for a limited slip so that when I'm at the junkyard I can tell if the car would have that limited slip.

You can tell by looking at it. If it has the cooling fins, it's likely to be a vlsd. Also, from the passanger side, look in through the wheel well (with wheel removed). There is an orange sticker on the top side that says:ViscousLSD

cool there are 2 240's in the yard as of tuesday . i think ill go have a look.
