Identifying cams / I think I got jacked

Hi all, long time reader and a fellow s14 owner. I am in the process of rebuilding my ka24de to go turbo and I broke my exhaust cam. A local guy sold me 3 cams and claimed that 2 were from an s13 and one was an s14 exhaust cam. I was hoping to run 248/232 cams.

Well I noticed on one of the supposed s13 cams 98 is hand written. Then I start to look at all the cams and compare them and they all match up like s14 cams. Is there anyway to identify them other than color striping as to what they really are?

I'm a little worried now to use them in my car. I don't want any bent valves and this is my first rebuild. I've heard it said that most mess up thier first build and I'd hate to have it mess up because someone lied about what cams they were selling me.

From left to right and top to bottom we have A, B, C, and D

They all look the same to me, 4 S14 cams. So did I get jacked and if not which are which?

One thing to keep in mind is that they switched cam colors from s13 to s14. s13 was green intake and yellow exhaust, s14 is reversed.

Just make sure you turn the engine over by hand before you start it up, you won't bend valves that way.

Well based off of that not a single one of those is an s13 exhaust and I did get jacked. Bwah

Can anyone confirm that?
