I know this is a DET forum, but maybe someone here can help me out. Does anyone know the head or block code for a S15 SR20DE? I know the S14 and S15 DE's look the same, but a friend is selling what he says is a S15 SR20DE swap with a 5-speed trans for cheap, I just want to make sure I'm getting an S15 engine. I've tried searching, but all I could find was info about FWD SRs

Why do you want a DE swap, anyway? This discussion has been brought up several times before. It's trouble that isn't worth it.

As far as I know, the difference in the S15 is all in the electronics, otherwise the engine is the same as the S14. Makes the same power.

Now, if it was an Autech S15 SR20DE, then that would be different.
