In my s14, it is the canister right up against my radiator. does it have to be pluged in?

Also, where can I get a s14 temp sending unit for my s13 sr-> s14

Charcoal cannister? If it's a little cannister connected to a few vacume lines, it's your charcoal cannister. Emmissions equiptment.

I know it has a plug, but I'm not sure about vacume lines It reminds me of an Air seperator tank (AST)

if it's bolted to the radiator support.and held on with 2 little studs then yeah thats the charcoal canister.the plug on there is so the ECU knows when it's jacked up.and can throw you a useless code.instructions for the type S are right on top.tighten it until it doesn't leak at full boost then a couple turns more.use the big nipple on the lower part.the small one can be left open.

Thanks guys. For the type S how do I make sure it's not leaking at full boost? have someone rev the engine and adjust it?
