One man's problem is another man's game? When I used to drive, there was a noise when I'd use my air conditioner that sounded like a card in a kid's bicycle spokes, and now I can hear it all the time. It's on the right side (from the driver's seat), and it's pretty clear. The higher you rev, the louder it gets. When I give it a fair amount of gas, there's a rattle right before it shifts too. I don't think it's my timing chain as I've heard that that rattles whenever you drive, not just under high rpms. It sounds like it's in the same place as the first noise I mentioned. Also, my AC runs at random times, and I can't turn it off.. Any ideas what to check? Thanks!

Well, I replaced the fuel filter and it's still doing it. I am going replace my new plug wires with the old ones and see if it still acts up. None of this happebned until a few days after I replaced my plugs/wires. (Yeah, I gapped the plugs.)

I posted this at two places, and I posted something different at freshalloy as well as this, and that's what I was talking about. When I give my car a fair amount of throttle, it starts to go and then slows down a little, bogging down and whatnot. That's what the talk of replacing the fuel filter, etc was about. Also, I had a friend stand over by where the sound seemed to originate, and he said he couldn't hear anything, but I definitely cold. Hmmmm
