Next summer, I will be going to Canada for college. The law in Canada says that you need day time running lights. In AZ, there isnt a law like that, so my A/C doesn't have them.
My question is if I could put some LED running lights under my headlamps. Also, how would I wire those lights so that they are on all the time, or turn off when the main lights go on? Would I have to wire them up to the ignition? I have no idea how to do that...
Thanks for the imput in advance....

idk, I think the LED thing is cool, and I like the auto function of my HIDs. Plus the instrument cluster and little screen gets darker when the lights are on. And in the day time, it would be washed out and I couldnt see it! But i understand ur reasoning

:werd: you'll save yourself so much trouble. LEDs is a great idea, but you would have to get some powerful ones, in terms of light output; ones that will actually be visible in the daytime.

I know the ones I have as footwells/interior LEDS are not bright AT ALL during the day...then again they were from eBay, but they are def not able to be used in the daytime.

I was thinking something like this:

With white lights of course. Do u think that would work? the only part I'm kinda iffy on is the wiring...

When my sister took her Rogue up to Canada a couple years back, she took it to the Nissan stealership, and it cost her like $80 to convert her's into DRLs. And i don't wanna do that!

Thank you so much for the info. I don't think they would put the LEDs in though, and if they did, it would cost more. Plus I've had nothing but bad experiences at the dealerships. I'll see what I can do sometime and I'll take it from there...

btw go lebron!

Yea, those Peeps from the Heat are gonna wreck this year! haha

I'll just have to figure things out in the end. I would like some pictures to show how to wire them up, however i know that would be asking too much. I like the idea with the fogs, but I think that would be even more wiring then i want to deal with, i'm very patient, but that may be too much! lol
