I am going to start working on he interior a little more now, its a blue s13 hatchback interior. The main problem to me is the dash, it's all good and cracked like any Arizona dash is. I was thinking about painting it in a blue/black scheme using Lectra finish.

What I want to ideas on are what would be the best way to first fill the cracks then smooth it out, and what can be used to harden the rest of the surface of the dash. I was thinking just bondo to fill the cracks, and some sanding later. The reason I want to coat the dash with something hard is to prevent someone from being able to say push it with thier finger or lean on it with thier hand and crack the paint because it flexed like a dash usually does a little. Only thing suggested for that so far was fiberglass resin. I was thinking a gel goat might be more along the right lines, if anything like that.

let me know what you think
