I am thinking of making a cool truck out of this....My goal is to have this XE XCAB 2WD perform and handle like a nice newer good handling car. Be great to get input from experienced people for each system I either replace or upgrade. Is this ENGINE worth simply rebuilding? Or should I drop better more modern in? ( Comparably or just a bit more $ im talking).
What suspension and braking refinements are best for a step or two up and not insanely priced? Like to ditch the whole interior and make a custom one thats clean, super comfy, yet doesnt need the planning as say an apollo mission!!!... And lastly...the thing is WHITE, with full side decals. ...Have some of this and that to sand, repair, but nothing major. It will remain some shade of white, No decals. But love to hear and see some nice refinements of say lil better hood, bumpers, mirrors, grill , and exterior lights.
Just so ya all know, I restored a 67 Camaro once......Had no idea....LMAO..... Learned old??...is not what ya want to use as your ride....That one I put back together Stock.... Omg all that money....Lol live and learn.
I gotta say Mostly , love this truck....One time since '96 i been stranded.....ONE. Thats saying something in my world. But it did and does have many things that anyone who has owned one for awhile KNOWS.....REALLY WELL. But, I Don' t mention negative in my life often...(There is plenty of that in the world)...
