OP, you will need a line level converter. You want to connect this to the wires before they reach the Bose amplifier in the trunk. There have been a number of discussions on this, so search around this section to find them. It would be recommended to get some sort of a processor in there as the Bose system is heavily processed and you will need to somewhat undo that to get a flatter frequency response curve.
Personally, I would recommend a 4-channel for the interior speakers and a mono amp for the sub. This would be the ideal setup. However, if you want to conserve space, there are a number of decent 5 channel amps that have 4 powering the inside speakers and 1 more powerful channel for the sub. Off the top of my head, Alpine has one in their PDX line (PDX-5 I think?).
