^ that is stupid once they catch on that giving you ticket doesn't work they'll start fining you more, probably start impounding your (impound fees suck) maybe suspend your License. besides who wants to pay any kind of ticket any ways your better off avoiding them.AAV240sx wrote:Just don't run a front plate.
When you get a ticket, pay it and go about your day. That's what I do.
Not really. In the va it's a fixed fine of $25 plus court fees and it is a non-moving violation, so no points.OMSIN wrote:

yea that sounded really dumb. I been driving with no front plate for about 2 years and no problems. A lot of cars don't have then if you really look. I'm not 100% sure but my friend said it is just a $10 fine in CA. I'm fine with that.OMSIN wrote:

I think the only model specific plate mount would be the one that comes stock from Nissan. Most people seem to try as hard as they can to avoid front license plates, like me, I live in San Diego but I'm rockin a single Michigan plate. Being military has its perksiseenem240SX wrote:Anyone have pics of these on a Kouki? I found some kits but they seemed like generic kits, not vehicle specific.
USDM Kouki bumper, it's a '98 SE.zo0d wrote:Maybe we could help you out better if you told us what kind of bumper you have.
Sweet i was planning on removing mine soon when i build the car/paint it, i was wondering what VA fine was cause front license plates are for squares. I don't get it, it's not like a cop ever reads your plate from the front, "oh this guy is speeding, let me race in front of him to read his numbers off the front plate backwards through my mirror when theres even lights on the back one.." Pennsylvania and Georgia seem to be doing fine without them, the states didn't like cease to exist without front plates, they just want our cars to look like shlt with there government brands on them.AAV240sx wrote:

why would zip tying it be illegal? if its mounted its mounted...woah wrote:Yeah but I already got the ticket and is zip tieing legal so that a cop would sign it off?
They CAN say that a ziptie is not a safe enough way to mount it.93240cooool wrote:
