So I am in a machining class at my school with access to end mills, lathes, etc. Once I finish all the assigned projects, I will probably have 2-3 weeks to work on my own projects for extra credit. In addition to that, all the material is free, I have access to BDS (4140), 6061-T6, mild steel, various alloys of tool steel, some 7075, copper, brass.....basically a lot of expensive free metal to my disposal.
I've been toying with the ideas of wheel spacers, definitely a shift knob, but I can't really think of any else to make. Any ideas?? :gotme
thanks nico!

+1!

Our stock brackets are pretty heavy.
Aluminum brackets would be neat.

You could also try making an oil cap and brake booster stopper like this:

Those radiator brackets do look like s*** and would be easy to make. I would buy a shift knob if ya made a heavy one that looked good.

if you press hard on the brake pedal you can actually see the firewall and the BMC/booster move out a bit, The stopper is just to give a more positive feel right?

i looked it up and that seems to be the reasoning behind it. I think I will pass though. I am actually looking at the wilwood brake booster delete for my s14. That is mainly for clearance and also a cleaner look.
