ok im fixing to go buy new plugs and was wondering what the idea gap was for a rb25det.Ive searched but there are so many diffrent opions and answers. Some say the stock gap is 35 or 37 but that is considered to high and that somthing lower is prefered, but from there on out it seems to be up to personal prefrence. So im asking what is the common gap that everyone runs on a stock rb that will not be boosted past 12psi for awhile if at all.

I stole one of those little keychain things from an autoparts store with the gap widths on the outside diameter. I love free!

That's what I have too. But I think I actually paid the $.99 or whatever they charge for it LOL. As much business as I've given them in the last 3 years it should have been free! LOL...

yes man you really need a Gap tool. It will come in handy for many years to come.

I have found at 15PSI mine like the plug gap at .022.

But I also run a AcDelco plug.

those plugs that you got are ungapped. the gapped ones will have a "-11" at the end of the name, like bcpr6es-11, meaning 1.1mm gap.

however, ngk ungapped plugs are about .8mm if you check them. get a tool to double check and adjust as necessary

Oh? Lol. Gotta love ignorance. I could have sworn I bought bcpr6es-11 and gapped them to 0.8? Hahahha. whatever I did it worked like a dream.

0.7 here at 12-14psi.

Part number is 3330 NGK coppers. I wanna say they come out of a saab 2000 or something...older one around the 1990's

oh yeah there a few steps cooler too.
