alright, i think we should have a sticky thread that has info only! not bashes, not arguments about who does better buiness, not flames, not people who dont really know what they're doing (including me)...flames and pointless arugments should be deleted by dauntless...

what i'm talkin about is a thread that has raw information, ie: what turbo's come stock, which cross member works and what is the result of that cross member? injector info or links to valuable injector questions, links to good places that deals with rb's, wireing information, drive shaft information, people who's done the swap and tell us about their exact experience...etc...

i think this would be good because it would take care of most of the FAQ and as for the rest of the forum, people can ask specific questions about their current project etc...

just my .02 for this forum which has become my home...(i'm in the process of doing a rb swap this summer myself and gathering as much info as i can)...If no one likes this idea and dont really care to support, then thats fine, i guess then people wouldn't care for informational FAQ thread then...

thatd be a good sticky. although i have almost no info to give on the rb engines. get some people to help out, or do it all yourself.

I think it is a great idea...but hard to do since there haven't been enough RB swaps done in the states to really have all the correct answers for everything. In other words, there is still arguement about sway bar issues with using the stock crossmember (it won't fit from our experience), and there is still arguement about the better way to install the motor (mounts and intake manifold that allow for strut tower bar and don't require hood cutting...vs hood cutting).

you guys should do someone's swap for free just to prove you're correct. :0)

Are you kidding me?!?! We have done 2 swaps essentially for free, only for advertising. Both the swaps pictured on our website were done as sponsorship deals. Both cars are running around and driving right now! A third swap (paid for) is being finished today. The only other pictures of finished swaps I have seen were by McKinney Motorsports. I'd still like to see pics of a finished swap done by someone else. I don't think we have anything more to prove.

hey mad scientist and WDRacing...since you guys are mods now, i thought i just bring this old post back because personally i think i've seen lots of good posts lately with lots of good info that i think should go on a nice sticky...personally i think that "mounting question" sticky post is getting irrellevent because the things people talk in there now has nothing to do with "mounting of the rb's..."
