i am no expert, but wouldnt even a t25 be too big for 1.2L of displacement?it would not boost well until you are near redline. i would like to see it though. go for it and post the results.>>>>>>>A.J.

Still 25's aren't they? I have no idea. But I was just thinking this the other day. I have my GT28RS Disco on my KA. It's awesome, but I wanted more. Being the DIY guy I am, I thought about it. But I have an .86 hotside on my turbo. Too big for twins. But I'm actually gonna look at this now. I'm gonna go dig around for turbo's. Maybe RX7 turbo's? Dunno. Wouldn't be practical except for bad-***-ness purposes. lolJGS or JGY, whatever it is.. Sells a flange with a few elbow's for less than 200. Just buy two turbo flanges and call it a day.. Or order their blank log, and put two flanges on that.. I've had a few idea's that are probably worthless, but could be neat none the less.

Discuss..

So was Relativity until people realized he was right.. Where do you get off calling someones idea stupid?

It wont fit, lol, dude you know nothing about fabrication.

The thing is though, other than the cool factor of saying i have a twin turbo setup on my ka, its completely pointless.

He pops in with negative 'ish all the time over here. Not to mention, I don't think he's seen the video of the twin charged KA.

Regardless, I've been searching the net tonight for some T3's with .48 exhaust housings. T2's would be better suited, but aren't as 'universal' as T3's. The T2's have weird inlet/outlets on the compressors, or have the wild nissan t25 downpipe flange. So I dunno. I'm gonna keep looking. It's not practical, but would be fun to build!

...haters.. pfft..

hey eazye2000 I'd be willing to come off a set of sr t25's(one needs rebuild of seals other is great) for a disco p so the build can start

idea is good but turbo options blow for this app., a guy the other day was talking **** about a tt civic 1.x lol bike turbos ftw...

the sohc twin was with srt4 turbos IIRC

If it wasnt so damned pointless i might do it, but damn... Im a go fast kinda guy, i could care less about the cool factor. Take your cool factor and go get a SR .

Iv got all the equip to make a twin setup but i just could never undertake such a huge project for something so.. Frivolous...

It would be kinda cool to get a large motorcycle turbo and a t28 and run them sequentially. That could have some worthwhile results.. Maybe..

Neverlift:I would probably do it if it wasn't for the funky in and out of the compressor housing on those damn things. That's why I was looking at the T3's. But they are hard to find in a .40-.50 ar exhaust side.

I like wasting government money on my car, it's the best feeling in the world!!

Thats the real link you want, ka24dett. Lol those are some shloppy tigs! The welder is trying to stick weld with a tig machine.. I guess if it gets the job done heh.

They must have used magic or something because both turbos fit! omg omg

haha, i would try to build a ka24dett if i was filthy rich. But I would have to have zero turbo lag. I remember my dad having a tiny-azz turbo from a little turbo sprint (i think it's suzuki) where the compressor wheel was like an inch in diameter! Slap a pair of those babies on and the turbo lag should be non existent

as for space, i think anything can be done: if worst came to worst, weld your own manifold and have both a bottom and top mount turbo locations with a joined down pipe but with a quiet exhaust so I could hear the turbos

can't imagine what this would sound like at high boost levels, probably like a loud hissing jet engine

It'd be a cool idea for originality, but if I had that much cash laying around and a lot of time, I'd just go for an LSx, lol.........That's just what I would do...so go fer it!

My set-up is cheap yet effective.... Think I'm going to pair up 2 different sizes... undecided yet... Going to make it interchangeable so I can see what different set-ups yield. 2 same 2 different 2 WAY different

why? plenty of twin turbo swaps that would probably cost less than all that custom fab you gotta do to accomplish to get this job done, great idea but i think its a waste. too much other options to go with for that kinda of money. LSx, RB, 2jz, twin turbo 300z, V8 q45 and i didnt even sctratch the surface of other swaps possible and that have bin done. i know you wanna be unique but just cause you have tha same motor or setup as someone doesnt make you any similiar than anyone of all of the guys on nico are different in every way. we just have one goal, and that is to take over the world.

this thread is wickidy wickidy wak

just my engineering genius at work again jk..

I don't know why people are saying this idea is totally whack. It's over the top yes, but I think it's fun to think about some crazy sh*t from time to time...besides, nissan made a rb25dett, with twin turbos and almost the same displacement as the ka. A v8 240 would be cool but everyone and their mother drives a 350 nowadays, I would at least go for a different sounding engine, just my .02

Current status. Getting a stocker next week. Swapping out. Then start my side project to say HAH! Then vert goes under big build.
