well a new page so its time for some pictures.

i wired in my resistors for my injectors today, after much searching an a thread on zilvia asking about it i learned that i was that they needed to be wired into these 4 red wires
Image
and got them wrapped up
Image
what it looked likewhen done
Image

and i wired in my injector clips.
Image

Image

and i figured out where i am going to put my afrg
Image
Image
it works for me, and i dont need to see the stock coolant temp since i have an after market one.

and put the turbo studs in to see how the clearance would be for getting the nuts on them. going have to trip down a couple i think cause the full race manifold has a weld below the flange that doesnt allow the stud to screw all the way into flange.
then i put my intake on,and turbo and wastegate

just kinda playing with how it will look, let me tell you i tried picking this all up together and deff adding some weight. but i make up for it by installing my cs headlight lenses plastic vs glass the whole headlight housing weighs about the same as the glass by its self.

Looks good, man. I really hope you plan on tucking your wires down low in the end.

going to go back out maybe and finish soldering the fuel system wiring harness up. got ot mount my 2nd fuel pump first so i can figure out wire lengths. going to mount it on he fire wall right under the wind shield wiper solenoid, in stalling a fuel pump killswitch to as an antitheft mesasure, for when the car actually makesit out of the wood

Not much for pictures today. But I did accomplish a lot. Got the inline fuel pump mounted and wired in with a relay and fuse. Got the intake pump relay mounted and wired in. Just have to connect the wires to the pump and wire the relay kill switch.

Got the differential all sealed up with fluid. And in the car and axels bolted together and drive shaft put in. Tranny filled with fluid. B and m shifter put in and bolted down.

Aem wide band gauge mounted and wired in. So coming together waiting for the headlight pigtails to come so I can wire them in. But a couple more days in the shop like today and it will be together quickly

well i think i might drop down to 235s in the back it will be cheaper then over fenders. and sell my 275s here is a pic of 235s i nthe backImage
i can have the suspension set softer with no preload and the car should handle alot better.

finished wiring up the fuel pump relays and kill switch today.
Image
relay mounted nicely
Image
i think it turned out good and should work great.
got to go extend my maf wiring. and wire my head lights still but not that big of deal, now that the main wiring is over.

got to finish fabing up my lower hot pipe, the welder called and said the stuff i dropped off is finished, so i can pick that up monday and hopefully have my hot pipe dropped off then.

now its basically just making those injector mounting tabs.

started pouring rain earlier but thankfully it didnt last long but i am just crossing my fingers that it doesnt turn into snow for atleast a month.
well of to do a trash run i nthe ranger, if i can keep the dogs out of it, they love riding in it, the one on the left will sit in it for hours waiting fora ride.Image

235's with that much hp/tq will prove traction challenging. Glad to see some progress and you moving along on this build.

For resistors, Nissan made a pack for CAs that install cleanly on a 240. I think if I ever have to run one of those packs, I'm gonna track down that resistor setup and do it like that.

Yeah 235s will be a traction problem LOL but the handling will be so much better. And the reason I didn't use a resistor pack is cause I don't like the idea of using on from a junk yard or really any electronics from a junk yard. So wiring in new ones was easy enough.

well little update, test fitting my turbo lines from mazworx, since they are designed to work with their kit they dont fit quit well with the full race kit and the full race manifold makes running lines interesting. but i think i finally got it, its mostly about finding the right combination to assembly them in. Image pretty close to the turbin housing, but it will work i think, i need to figure out some sort of heat shield or turbo blanket to protect the BMC but we will see, i eventually will send manifold and down pipe and turbine housing in for swain coating but not right now.

just waiting on my damn down pipe, i figured out how to wire my head lights up first try, and let me tell you the brick headlight wiring guide on here is wrong, the center housing is a fog light not the low beam. so i might make a how to rectifying it. possibly tomorrow, need to complete my lower hot pipe today and my injector rail brackets. should be simple, but it hasnt been lol, thats why i have been procrastinating on them.

well here is the brackets in the rough. for the fuel rail. ImageImageImage just some smoothing off of the edges and slight bending, then going to paint them. rough but they work. my lower hot pipe is still stumping me and i need to shorten the turbo intake pipe up a bit to get the filter up in the bumper more.

internet didnt let me finish that post. but tomorrow my ecu will be here, and i will go about doing some refining on the fuel rail brackets, i want to do something cool with the intake pipe but i am not sure what yet. was thinking about drawing a hand giving the finger on it lol. or something like that. but i will also bolt the turbo and everything on manifold for good, so it wont be coming apart again for a while. going to order two new tires. so now just need the damn down pipe to come, thinking about starting it with out the down pipe just using the down pipe i have kinda set in place with some ducting or something. we will see. i need to call full race and see if they are done or will have it done before sema.

car back on its wheels, needs to come up in the back and down in the front, but as it sits about 3.5 inches of clearance on the frame rails, and oil pan.

18 inches i think, i cut about 4 inches or so off, to move the filter up, and the hot pipe wraps around the filter, i am using old license plates to make a splash gaurd lol

Ok. Just checking. I ran into an issue with my pipe being too short and the turbo making the MAF act retarded...

yeah i red up on that and making sure you have a straight section after the MAF so it doesnt create a vortex with the turbo and cause wrong reading. also read about the expansion going fro ma 3 inch maf to a 4 inch pipe, that doesnt do anything either.
