if ur car came factory equipped w/ 3 brake lights u gotta have all of them. even if i pass inspection i'd probably get pulled over and hassled for it. its not worth it wne i can just shave it and do an led 3rd brake light inside the glass

YEA around here the cops dont care, since most of the cars running around are mising taillights and head lights and crap lol.

the brake light inside the glass would be kidna cool. but my tint will be to dark to to realy be able to see it most likely.

how dark of a tint are u doing? im gonna do an led 3rd brake light and if that cant shine through ur tint then it must be black spray paint

mount the a/f gauge farthest away from u. trust me i had it on the a pillar when i bough the car, the lights get really annoying especially at night. put it farthest away from u and u can still see the lights out of ur peripheral vision, thats what i did and it works fine

douple quoting FTL

haha. yea i just dont feel like dealing with a 3rd brake light when it doesnt matter. i am going as dark as i can for my window tint.

good idea about the lights. so i suppsoe i will put the exhaust temp up by the boost gauge.

Do you guys know what wire I can use to extend my O2 sensor plug so I can plug it into my harness?, I don't have a spare O2 sensor to splice it. Could I just use another kind of wire?

why would you get a water temp gauge when you have one stock.

well i opened my gauges up and i need to get some 18 gauge wire to instal my oil pressure gague, and i need soem for oil temp.

now the oild temperature wis the most confusing one of them all to install.it says something about installing it i nthe oil pan. or such. i will figure it out some how.

and the pyrometer was confusing becasue i am not sure where exactly to mount the sensor. i am thinking in the turbo extenson housing. they say you can mount it before the turbo or after. wit ha tubular manifold it is kinda hard to put it before the turbo. so i think i will have the bung welded on near the stock o2 sensor location.

does any one know what size of bung i need to weld on to my down pipe for the AEM wideband o2 sensor?

it is an exhasut temperature gauge. my engine ering friends said it was a really important gauge. because as soon as the motor heats up you will see it on the gauge.

yeah but the factory gauge is so inaccurate its useless. it wont tell u ur overheating til its too late. theres three readings on it; cold, operating temp, and long gone

that is true. but i chose the gauges that i thought were the most important. i still need my air/fuel ratio gauge from AEM

does any one know the size of bung you have to put on your down pipe

i would have gotten water temp instead of oil temp. if u have water temp and exhaust temp, ur pretty much going to be covered for temp monitoring

I agree for a car not seeing track abuse.

Factory gauge sucks.

Check out Touge Factory's Special on Zilvia for a very silick water temp sender adapter...
