if i had ps and stuff i would be more keen on making the interior nicer. but i like the ruggedness with the back stripped and just seats and racing harnesses in it. just the essentials. i really wantot go track it or find some where to drift. but the track isnt open and wont be open.

the primer deal is true. that is why its called primer lol. it gets the car ready for paint.

lol and right now the only money i am spending on my car is for gas. the rest i have to save for college this fall. Universities dont let you go to them for cheep lol

2 step is a revlimitor that kicks in when you have the clutch pushed in and will only allow you to rev to a certian rpm. which alows you to build boost beforea launhc and keep the pedal floor while shifting

What did your boost leak test consist of? Did you just spray soapy water on the plumbing while the engine was running?

just presureized it and where ever air comes out it would whistle.

and my CS catch can doesnt do ****. maybe it is how i have it set up but i think with the turbo suckng as hard as it is and the crank pressure being so high the stuff isnt being able to drop in the catch can. and is getting sucked right back through into my intake pipe and turbo.

the stuff takes time man, i read throguh tons of build threads before i even began mine. and even after i started i read other threads. and actually haveing your own build htread cn hep you. because i was able to go back and figure out my cams were positioned wrong and fix it.

Hey Idaho I know this is random, but if you decide to do flat black for temporary. spend 50 bucks on a real basecoat, so when you do decide to spray your car your not sprayign over some weak rattle can laquer crap, but im sure your dad would save you from makign that mistake.

i will takea picture later of the item my budy made to do it. but basically it is a capped off pipe that you stick i na coupler right off the turbo inlet. then motor is turn off. and using compressed air you pressurize the whole system through nipple en the end of the pipe. couplers will put off a whistling sound when air leaks out around them. i acutally founda boost leak coming off my turbo. that i need to maeka gasket for to fix and found i had a hole in my cold pipe. thos are some reasons my car has ran liek crap lately. well at least at idle.
