my car is about as illegal as you can get without having it slammed but no one around here checks or even knows waht to check for.

as far as the wheels sticking out there are trucks around here that ru n around with like 4 or 5 inches sticking out.

and as long as i keep my car licensed in idaho i am fine hehe

I know. Kansas doesn't have inspections, unless you are buying a salvaged car and are getting it on the road again. After that, its "do whatever the hell you want" unfortunately. There's cars out here that have lil 12" rimz and stick out like 5-7"... Looks retarded.... But I wont call any names....

Yeah there used to be an eclipse around my way with those little as* rims, but it was owned by a girl and was truely fsat

Must be nice Nh used to be like that, untill every fanboi started driving like asses in there honda's. It got to the point where anyone griving an import was getting pulled over...they changed inspection laws to include ANYmodification illegal. Thankfully I know a few people down there that will overlook certain things Plus I am stationed in Maine so

yeah i actually just read through the vehicle code just to besafe. and fenders are required lol thats the only thing i found on tires hahaoh the tires need to have good tread hehe.. there are tail light requirements but most of them are just like how high your lights need to be off the ground. and as far as vehicle height there are only laws saying how high you can go hehe

Yeah it is one of the most common laws out there. It is justifiable too, it stops loose debris from comming up and breaking the windshield of the person behind you. Most common offenders are the 4X4 trucks, but as we both know one less thing for them to write a citation for is always a good thing

yeah. i agree with you there. one last thing to get tickets it true. my dad asked if i was going leave my front plate off, and i said no because i didnt want to give the cops more reasons to pull me over. the only ones they might be able to get me for is my exhaust and tint. but with a turbo the exhaust isnt as loud. so i dont think i will be pulled over for that.

i am trying to make my car stand out as least as possible. lol

at least you got that figured out before you painted the car. It would suck if it cracked the paint during the pull.

hopefully my location is a calling card for a possible magazine spread.

the car is going black here sometime this month. as soon as i get a windshield.

trying to decided between a metallic black or gloss black. and if it is metal what color of flake i will use.

You will LOVE the PBM's on actual paved roads. and corners... oh the corners...

how did adjusting the coils go? i know you asked in my thread but didnt know if you saw all of my responses. make sure to lock the locking collars down nicely. and oil the pillowball joints.

yeah i got them adjusted. whats the pillowball joint?i am a newbie as suspension terminology. i need to adjust the preload on the back i think to make it a little stiffer back there. i need to go lower on the front for it to look really good but i am not sure if i will cause right now i have zero rubbing. and i want to keep it that way

i need to adjust camber and i am not exactly sure on how to go about that. i have been using a level on the sidewall of the tire to see if it is level or if the top is tilted out more or less but the ground can affect that. so i dont hink it is a very good way.

haha yeah i am excited i figure middle of next week i will start driving it hopefully. i need to pull the oil pan and redo the seal on it.

as well as my turbo line for coolant behind the head is leaking. and i have no clue why i tightened that **** down tight.

and i am going to by pass the coolant lines going to the IACV. hopefully that will take care of my leaks.

the motor is running strong though and i want to get my clutch broke in as fast as i can lol. so i will be putting some serious miles on it as fast as possible. figure and alignment and a round trip to get my windows tinted and it will be good will get me 170miles really fastthen a few trips to town. are like round trip 30 miles. do 5 of those and we can really test the girl out. hehe

I like having 2 degrees of camber all around. Some prefer more or less, but that works out good for me on street. On track I get wacky with it lol.

yeah i figured 2 degrees as well but i have no way of knowing where i am setting it. so i just need to get it close so i can get an alignment. i need to adjust the preload for my spring i nthe back as well cause i have to much travel.

my dad is going to be busy for the rest of this weeb but hopfully next we can get the video posted.

messed around with the settings on my rear suspension lifted it justa little more and added some preload so i wouldnt rub. i dont have a wrench that will fit o nthe rucas so it is a ***** to adjust it using a pipe wrench.

i pulled hte oil pan off and re did the gasket so no more oil leaks for me. tomorrow i will work on the water leaks and see if i can get them taken car of.

Oil leaks are a b*tch, I got one and it just pisses me off. I'll clean it up and the next day, BAM! Dirty again... Oh well... I'm tired this is one of my last posts for the night...
