Hi guys,

I purchased some injector dynamics ID2000 injectors for my CA18 and were told they are a direct fit. The end that mounts into the manifold is different to the standard injector and won't fit the same. What have other done to fit these, are there additional collars required?

This pic shows a CA18DE inject next to the ID2000.

Yes they usually come with "adaptor" tips on them.
You select wich ones you want when purchasing them.
They are 12mm shorter than a standard injector.

So do you think I need an adaptor for the top and the bottom? I order them to suit a CA18 and they came with the top adaptor which makes them the correct lenght and it fits into the fuel rail, it just doesn't fit into the inlet manifold. You can see in my pic above, the manifold ends of the standard and ID2000 injectors are different.

You need to contact who you got them from. I'm not running their injectors, but a friend is and they were basically PnP.

Yeah I did contact who I purchased them from but the reply wasn't helpful. I've looked on the T1 racing developments website and have found that they sell a cushion adaptor which basically replaces the nissan o ring in the manifold. It says it suits RB's so it should suit a CA.

Yea, my friend got his from T1, so maybe that's why he didn't have any issues. Regardless, you're on the right track with the RB lower o-ring/seal.
