Quick question. I'm about to put this downpipe on my car. Just curious what type of downpipe this is. Can anyone ID this downpipe for me? What brand, name?

I'm not sure what brand that is, but it looks like it sure will provide decent ground clearance.

Pick it up used I'm guessing?

Yeah, I bought this thing used. I just wanted to see if anyone knew what it was. I suppose I could call up the person I bought it from . I've been calling him up a million times about other things already though.

me too.

btw, its NOT HKS. HKS looks like your average single piped down pipe.

The split looks kinda uncessesary tho... I mean, it goes from a single pipe to a y-pipe, then back down the a single. Wtf? I mean, I can understand if it were to be divorced straight from the elbow (if the turbo elbow was divorced to begin with, kinda like greddy), but its not.

All I know is, if it does have sucky ground clearance, good luck trying to modify that dp.

Actually the ground clearance is really good. It hangs at level with the frame rails. The only explanation I can think of for the twin pipes is for ground clearance.

hmm... makes sense.

although, it woulda probably been more cost effective to just oval the piping like circuit sports rather than having to weld more.
