Ive been doing research to try and find where my ignition control module is located on my 90 300zx tt. i would just try and find it but beings its still cold out id rather know where to go what to take out so i can put the new one in.. any information would be aprreciated. thanks

you mean the PTU? the thing that controls the coil packs? it's on the front of the passanger side timing belt cover, if there si a ICM I have no first hand knowledge of it

the ICM is the ignitor control modual and that is located on the right hand timing cover ive never heard it be refered to as a ptu or anything nissan calls it the ignitor or ICM

PTU seems to be the accepted term in the Z32's, it's equivelent on the S130 or Z31 would eb called an ignitor but much les sophisticates, basically a transistor, and GM has their HEI (High Energy Ignition) only slightly more complicated than a transistor
