I've been having a problem with my 240sx for sometime. It's been sitting for about 10 months now. I rebuilt the engine and tried tos tart it. It turns over but doesn't fire and i changed out the distributor and the coil and still the same result. I'm beginning to think my ICM might be a problem. Could you be able to tell me where that is located it so i can take it out and get it tested? I did a search on the forum but i didn't find much on this.

Thanksp.s. This is a 1992 Hatch 240sx.

My trusty Chiltons manual is not showing an ICM for the 240. Could be mistaken, but lets check off on the obvious things first?Have you checked to make sure the engine is at TDC on the compression stroke? It is very possible, very easy to be off 180*.Do you have fuel at the rail?Plug wires are in correct sequence? Distributor spins COUNTER clockwise. (I am stressing that point for a reason. I grew a mean pair of donkey ears that day)
