ichiba 5 lug bearing help[

I recently just did the ichiba 5 lug conversion on my 240 and probly drove it 1000 miles and my wheel bearings are allready shot. I know Im running a stiff suspension and wide wheels but damn. I have bc coilovers and xxr 522 18x9.5 +25 offset. has anyone else gonew thru wheel bearings that fast.

It's the Ichiba bearings. People either have good luck with them, or have bad luck with them. I don't see why people don't just go with OEM rear hubs; they're easy and so much cheaper.

If you're buying brand new rears from Nissan, they are definitely not cheaper. The fronts are ~$130 a piece, plus you need an S14 front knuckle and ball joint. Then you're looking at ~$260 per rear.

Granted, it gets infinitely cheaper if you use a salvage yard, but if you're trying to get brandy newy stuff, Ichiba is the way to go.

I will say that if the bearings themselves are OE spec, you can probably get lucky and try to swap in some OE bearings.

i had the same issue. press in oem bearings an problem solved
