You don't like the show? Or the fact that it's on the History channel?

I always thought it was an ok show.

All I ever saw was a bunch of truckers bitching about their personal problems and exaggerated close-calls.

Pawn stars is much better. I liked IRT at first but it got old quick. Lots of night driving killed everything. I don't watch it much. Pawn stars is awesome tho. American Pickers is so stupid.

I love Pawn Stars. However its getting annoying that on my youtube vids, people keep commenting that I look like Chumlee.

Has anyone watched the new pawn shop show on the other network? Looks more inner cityish to me and I wonder how it is?

It's no deadliest catch. That chick is annoying as hel. "ZOMG, it's a gurl, and she drives a truck, GOSH!" She is very unprofessional and the fact that she has breasts is the only reason she is on the show. I've known many female truck drivers who were much better drivers than her, and at least one, cuter. Hugh has breasts too but that's not why he's on the show.

Ugh... what has happened to History Channel? The only good thing left is Modern Marvels.

I can't stand Pawn Stars. The main guy that runs the shop is a jerk and the rest are hillbilly idiots.

that show can walk right the f*** off my History Channel too.

and American Pickers...I can only take so much of those two fruit booties before I wanna remove Iowa.

and Swamp people too.

I'll start a channel for them, we'll call it Mouth Breather Broadcasting.

16 of the 18 hours of daily Nascar coverage Speed does can go there too.

Did you notice how Rick (the bald guy) always makes the customer feel like s*** and then low balls them on an offer? It does get boring after a while..
Exactly. That's one of the main things that I don't like about the show.

I liked the first IRT, but didn't really see a point in doing more than one season. I also don't see how it's historical in any way. I watched a few minutes of the Deadliest Roads last night. It's interesting to see how life is in those countries on that ridiculous road. And after seeing the woman drive on the ice roads in Alaska, I was seriously surprised that they let her go drive on that crazy dangerous road. Pawn Stars, I can kinda see how it has a historical point to it, with the old documents and such that people bring in. But they lowball people like crazy. But that's how pawn shops are, they don't give you anything for your stuff. One of my friends from high school used to be on dope really bad and took a lot of his stuff to a pawn shop and they would rip him off so bad. He took like a 60" plasma tv in one day and they gave him like $300 for it. And the dumbass sold it to them. Anyways, back on topic, American Pickers blows, I can't stand watching that show. Those two are kinda fruity if you ask me. I can't make it through the first 5 minutes of it.

Pawn Stars is retarded. The old guy creeps me the hell out, the kid is a drool-cup bearing windowlicking waterhead, and the only cool one on the show is the bald guy.

My issue with it is, that's not a pawn shop, folks. Pawn shops aren't glamorous. People don't bring in $60,000 guitars, Marilyn Monroe's panties, and original drafts of the Constitution into a pawn shop, for cryin' out loud.

They bring in stolen tools, obsolete electronics and ugly engagement rings, get their $19 in crack money, and never come back to get their stuff.

If they bought all the crap they supposedly buy, they'd never make any money... Notice you never see them selling anything?

I enjoy watching pawn stars, especially when people bring in guns and Rick always tells Chum to shoot it first.

the only time I've seen them sell stuff was a motorcycle at an auction. plus they always have that photo of jim morrison in the shop in the back ground, lol

Hardcore Pawn is a show all about stereotypes, on the episode I did catch, some guy came in to pawn cheap champagne glasses, ridiculous...

Deadliest Catch was pretty good, Lisa is hot, and American pickers we can all agree, sucks.

This is the only half-way-decent-kinda-informative show on Tv, Pawn Stars. Adult swim does rule, but its been on the air forever, and most of the shows suck.

Side note: Family guy is in its 10th season, amazing.

Ya, Pawn stars, it kinda sucks because Rick is an ***hole, but seriously, people do pawn, guns, and jewelery, and dvds. Rick just has a good location. Some weird, and almost "staged" s*** comes in, but hey, just imagine his volume, the media content the store does bring, and how crazy those people in Vegas really are. You know there has to be a select few that drive in from cali, and surrounding states, just with something they think is amazing, just to be on TV. I like it.

I don't get to watch much Tv and Pawn stars doesn't make me feel scared, or confused. The two feelings everyone has that makes them change the channel. Lol

Surviving The Cut is pretty good. Watched the first episode since it was about Ranger School, and got hooked. Some new respect for those other schools and branches, especially the Combat Diver. That ish is crazy...

The only one of those documentaryish style reality shows I've ever cared to watch more than a single episode of is Deadliest Catch. The rest just seem to be people exaggerating the hell out of life. "OMG, we were deforesting a swamp/driving across an icepack and started to sink. I took us 3 episodes to dig out. Buy our merchandise."

Sadly, it looks like last season was indeed the last season for deadliest catch. Discovery decided to sue one of the boat owners' and it looks like a couple of the others didn't take kindly to that at all.
