IC piping help!!

i just got my blitz se intercooler installed into my s14 but have no idea why there's a hole in my pipe. looks like for my bov but i got it welded to my hot pipe and the manual is in japanese...

Pic of the hole? If its more than an inch in diameter then yeah it would be bov.
