Well some of you may know that my cheap *** turbo zy turbo is slowly breaking apart. I was thinking about putting a metal screen over the inlet of my FMIC to prevent any pieces of metal or anything at all from getting into the FMIC. Think it would cause any flow problems? or even work.... i am talking about some heavy duty screen not like screen door stuff....

I dont see it causing any problems... just make sure the screen itself doesnt break up from the pressure and heat.

Of course the real reccomendation is to not run the car with this turbo at ALL, but if you must....

+1, seriously stop driving the car. Rent a car for week and swap in a different turbo. No point in ruining your stuff.
