Hey guys, so I've noticed something strange going on while driving in my M56x.
Basically whenever the car is driving or standing in direct sunlight the IBA systems turn off and when the car is in the shade or pulls up behind a car which casts a shadow on it, it turns back on.
Is it like a common thing? is the IBA sensor light sensitive?
any ideas?

Cheers guys!

That's by design. I know, it freaked me out the first time it happened on my car as well but again that's by design lol.

Ditto! I was testing it in a hospital parking lot one evening and got to play with the car going east, west, notth, south.

Had the same initial reaction...thought the system was done for and then realize it was due to sunlight...which make sense. If your eyes can barely see through glare a camera certainly can't (our eyes are like 1000x more powerful than any lens on the planet).

I don't know what you all mean, I have this on my car and it functions in all lighting. I don't think that's what you're all talking about. The two green lights come on when I hit the button on the steering wheel.

I'm confused dudes. what am I missing hear.

Malbec Beast, does your car have the ability to do this:

or this:

If yes, some of us are experiencing this, which disables the brake assist feature:

This happens where or not you have ICC actually on. I could be driving 10mph and it'll still happen in severe direct sunlight.

I had a heart attack when I first saw IBA off on my way to work one day. Obviously a few miles down the road I noticed it kept coming on when I was in direct 7:30 AM sun.

I recently did a thorough cleaning on my car, including all the sensors, and I haven't seen the light pop back up, even in direct sunlight. I guess it's like trying to look through dirty sunglasses, it'll be able to sense the road better if the lens is clear.
