Iat Sensor Location???

Does anyone have a pic of where the IAT sensor is on a s13 hatchback KA24DE ?? Im going to try out a mod but not sure where this is located.

Let me guess... the ebay "timing advance" kit. 3.3k ohm resistor maybe?

Anyway... it is in the airbox (big black plastic box with your air filter inside)...

If it is the resistor "mod" that I mentioned... you don't need to locate the IAT sensor.. just the wiring clip that leads to it.

if your car is not calif certified emissions you may not have an IAT

yeah i don't have an iat, or even a place for the iat to mount.

And FYI, that mod DOESN'T WORK.

The FSM specifically staes that the IAT is used for diagnostic only. The ECU refers to coolant temp for making changes to A/F...

So don't waste your time.

Well if it doesnt work i wont even mess with it then....but thanx for the info guys....can anyone reccomend a good cold air intake??...i also see something called a "short ram" what exactly is this?
