Hey I just wanted some opinions on what you guys think of me running a garrett iaresearch t04 turbo, 57 trim, on a rebuilt ka24de with aries low compression forged pistons, bored over block, 91 cams and pretty much just the rest is an oem rebuild. What do you guys think of running that turbo on my motor?

alot of us are running that size turbo. i have a t04b. i forget what trim i beliebe s trim..

good turbo will not fall out at top end. a little laggy. i believe a 57trim wont start making boost untill 2600rmps, and not see full boost untill 3300-3400 rpms.. its good for alot of boost. i believe on a ka24de with proper tuning and 18+psi you can get 400whp form a turbo that size.

do a search alot of us are using t04..

get the jgs oil line kit, they used to be a sponsor, I think they still are and the kit works well. When getting the kit you should make sure you get a bung for your oil pan. What injectors are you running and maf? Just throwin this out there in case you hadnt thought of it yet, also engine management. Ethalpy. I have a msd 6btm and safc that will give you better spark and more control that matched witha wideband you could be golden, if you know how to tune. any way I have that stuff for sale wideband msd 6btm and safc II for $700 all pretty munch brand new like 100 miles on msd and afc and started up and drove 1 mile on wideband! All work well. [email protected] if interested

Im gonna be running 550cc's with a z32maf. What exactly is a enthalpy ecu because im kinda new to cars haha? I just got the turbo and im about to order the megan t3/t4 manifold. How much do you want for your safc II? I really dont have the slightest idea on how to tune a car so yep...Anyone know where I can get some 550's at?

If your turbo is a straight T04 which is basically a T4, Then the T3/T4 Manifold wont work, because the manifolds are T3 Flanged. The T4 turbo flange is larger then the T3 one. However you could get that mani, cut that flange off and stick a T4 flange on it .

i have some 550cc top feed injectors for sale if you are interested. you will need a top feed fuel rail to run these injectors. let me know if you are interested. i just got 1000cc inj so i have no more use for the 550's there in perfect working condition. i also have a z32 mafs with pig tail and filter if you need that to. lmk

How much do you want for the 550's and the z32 maf? Sooo nobody has told me what a enthalpy ecu is yet lol? I know already that the T4 turbo wont fit on the t3/t4 megan manifold but does anyone know where I can get a flange piece so I can fit the t4 onto the t3 manifold???

enthalapy is an s13 ecu u send to enthalpy and they put new programing into it to make your new injectors and timing needed work properly, its kinda expensive, but I think worth it! For my stuff I wanna sell as a package deal cause I would get a tuned ecu, cause I cant tun an afc worth a FUKKKK. I would honestly reccomend spending the money for an enthalapy tune, never heard a valid problem with them! It is plug and play, contact deatchwerks for a set of 550 cc injectors, get you a z32 maf (a 300zx tt maf). If your manifold wont bolt to your turbo look at the ssac t3/t4 manifold cause it is either or! try to bolt turbo to manifold! DONT RUSH YOUR SETUP!!! people (like me have done this) and it is disasterous!! You wanna be able to drive your car!!! Mine is almost paid off 2 yr loan and I have driven it a total of 6 months. 2 on boost. many motors(3) Just not worth the headach. READ EVERY KA24DET POST IN THE FORUM BEFORE YOU SPEND ANY MORE MONEY! You should try and learn from all of our issues! It is a straight foreward project! You just need to know/understand what your are doing exactly! fiznat, jz cheezedik are the smartest kadet people witht he most advice I have chatted with in here! They are quickest to off help!
