Which turbo kit do guys think is better for a beginners turbo kit for up to about 300 whp. The boost kit is cheaper but I wasn't sure.

No contest.

There's about 10 good reasons BD isn't a sponsor here anymore, I'll leave it at that.

Call IAP, talk to Marc, he's a wealth of info.

Honestly I'm not even sure what Boost Designs is selling in their "kit" since their falling out here and elsewhere. We had a LOT of problems with them as far as customer service and low quality products-- to the point where we ended up cutting them as a advertiser on this site. At about the same time I know that Enthalpy (the guy who makes the Enthalpy tuned ECUs) also decided to pull out from Boost Designs and no longer allowed them to sell his product. I have no idea why his ECUs are still listed on the Boost Designs website... BD is a mess from what I have seen, unless they have completely turned around-- which I have seen no evidence of.

IAP is a completely different story. Marc has been hooking NICO members up with special pricing and amazing customer service from what I have heard and seen. We have a number of members who decided to buy as soon as IAP became our sponsors, they are all recieving their stuff this week (today, actually I heard!)-- so stay tuned for some excited members posts and lots of pics of their kits. You'll see what IAP is all about very soon.

How about boost design's intake manifold is that any good, I don't think there is any other intake manifolds out there right now.

I dont know of a single person that actually bought that thing. I havnt heard ANY reviews of it, any pics, comments, anything. Honestly I'm not even sure that it is really for sale, despite the fact that it is listed on the website. Given Boost Design's history though, I would avoid it.

I am 99.9% sure you're right. After leading KA owners on for over 6 months, saying it's done but there needs to be a dyno, or this minor issue, or this head is in this ***.. it was never "tested", and never sold.-Jeff

There are plenty. Steer clear of that one, you'll never see it.

Like I said in a prior thread, I'm in possession of an email saying mine "shipped out yesterday" - that was over a month ago, haha.

Shy - IAP is on a 4-week turnaroud (I believe).

Mine arrived 24 hours early.

Geo - It was more like $1200 (lost advertising fees).
