Hello,Well after changing my head gasket, i started up the car, for some reason the car can only run if the distributor is all the way advanced, if i retard it a little it lags like crazy, and wants to almost die if i push on the gas. Also after about every 20 minutes I have the car on and one of the injectors goes out, I change it out with another stock 260cc, then the motor goes back to the way it was before the injectors goes bad. I dont understand, could there be a tooth of on the distributor??? once i fix this problem my turbo goes in. If any one can help my out i would appreciate it thanks-Ricky

are all of your sensors hooked up? yes the distributor could be off a tooth. your timing chain could be lined up incorrectly. it could be a million things, but right off hand when you open the throttle and it wants to die sounds like the mafs is unplugged and your idle is not set right. have you checked the timing with a timing light? more info please.

Hey thanks for the reply, everything is hooked up properly, when i rev it sounds weak, very wired, it basically sounds like if you have an injector out(only one). It doesnt really sound like the maf, from my thing. Its really wired, because as like i said one of the four injectors keeps on going out. iam getting a timing light soon, hopefully by tomorrrow. thanks
