my car revs at idle and i was told that the IACV could be bad is there any way to know or is there any adjustments i can make to this to try and fix this problem?

pour in some seafoam or carb cleaner and see if it helps

another q off the subject should i jsut cap off my EGR valve or should i recirculate it back into the exhaust?

cap it off...its much easier getting rid of it then tryin to make it work.

ive been told to do it for some and ive been told if i do it would be really hard on my motor so i was just wondering its open right now would that make it run any differently than if i capped it off?

if its open right now...it will make you run very shtty. close it off
