Is there anywhere that sells the updated metal IACV screw separate from the unit? I have done a little digging around and that would just make life so much simpler!

The screw doesn't come out. At least not easily. I had a ruined unit with the plastic screw and I experimented with removing the screw and it would not come out. To get it out, I would have had to resort to drilling (it could have also been that the screw itself was broken and would only spin instead of backing out). Anyways, if you want a metal screw IACV, you'll have to order one. FRSport had them for a decent price when I ordered one a few years back.

I've had mine out before to change it for a like new screw... but that one is in bad shape now too. I just got off the horn with thenismoshop.com and they cant order them separate. Its not too big of a deal because its going on my new intake manifold so i can just turn it by finger because it will be wide open now.

if you need a iacv, I have a s13 and s14 iacv I can sell. Let me know if you want it. Both have the screw intact. Email is [email protected].
