I think my IACV is Gonna. When i was doing the 5 speed swap i ended up breaking the purple tab with wires on the IVAC. My mechanic finished my 5 speed and he replaced the purple wire. But my problem is when i start my car the car automatically revs up and down then dies. To keep my engine running i have to tap the throttle once. On Warm days or when its warmed up it revs up and down but doesn't die and the OD usually flashes to. It only happened after the 5 speed swap. Do you think i have to replace the IACV  or did my mechanic rip me off ?

Purple tab is the third pictures in thread.

I'd go back there and check the plug.
The wires that go there control your idle.

The ecu will bypass the Iacv if the tps is bad or out of spec. Check that if you don't have any luck the iacv.

So i took a quick look at the IACV but seem like all the lines are connected. If i remove the Purple tab would the TPS need adjustment? I got my idle adjusted to 750 but know its back around 900 but doesn't go back to 900 right a way.If i take it out of gear the revs goes to 1100rpm then couple seconds later it goes down to 900ish. BTW my RPM was perfect before the swap .
