Car: '89 Hatch DE swap

Post

I have a 89 hatch with a 93 ka24de swap was done before i got the car so I'm still finding out what was done right and what was done wrong. pulled off my IACV to clean it and found the spring was missing. I ordered a new IACV from courtesy and where my old one had staple clips for the sub harness the new one has snap clips.

Did they send me the wrong one or is this a way of selling more parts when a known problem goes bad?

is there another nissan i can pull the sub harness out of that has snap clips on the sub harness?

if anybody will send you the right one it will be them. they have the most selection and tell you which one is for which year or even month of production.

IACV's have different plugs for different years.

Mine stopped working and the car would die coming to a stop, so I removed the spring and it eliminated 99% of the problem. (Every once in a while the rpms will dip to around 4-500rpms coming to a stop, but it doesn't die.
